ChildSafe ID collects information about you and your child for the sole purpose of producing the ChildSafe ID card and distributing it.   ChildSafe ID does NOT sell or rent our list of customers to anyone under any circumstances.  All information is kept strictly confidential.  Once the Card has been produced all information about the child is destroyed within one month in accordance with the Data Privacy Act.

All our staff have been screened by the Australian Police and hold a Blue Card which authorizes them to work with children.

We have been interviewed by the Sex Crimes division of the Australian Federal Police and found to be a legitimate organization.

You can rest assured, your child’s safety and privacy are our primary concerns.  All data is deleted from our system 1 (ONE) month after the card is produced.  We keep the data for one month incase a card needs to be reproduced.

If you opt to have your child’s photo placed on our secure internet servers (Secure Online Photos Service) you will be pleased to know that it is ONLY the photo that is stored on the internet.  The child’s name and their details will have been deleted.  If you lose your CSID number even we cannot find & re-issue it.  You will be required to provide all the information again so a new card can be issued.

 To summarize our data policy, all data is destroyed after 1 (ONE) month of producing the ID Card.
